n“…” Anhao took a deep breath before she grinned. “Yes, of course I want it!”

nA lunchbox was always better compared to a cup of instant noodles.

nZuo Hancheng glanced at the gold card that he had thrown on the coffee table before he said, “There is still one month left before your final examination at the end of December. If you can pass each and every one of your subjects, then I might consider returning this gold card to you.”

nBefore Anhao could say anything in protest, Zuo Hancheng said once again, “I am just asking you to pass all of your subjects instead of failing them. Gu Anhao, you should know that my requirements are already very low and I am not even asking for too much from you.”

nIndeed, it was already a miracle that Zuo Hancheng was not forcing her to raise her grades to get high distinction for her final examination. He was being very considerate.

nHowever, the important thing was that she only had one month left!

nShe only had one month to study so that she could pass all of her subjects in the final examinations!

nAnhao gritted her teeth before she said, “Are you trying to kill me?”

nZuo Hancheng turned around and looked at Gu Anhao as he said in a very gentle tone, “What did you say?”

n“I said, you are trying to…” Anhao immediately raised her voice by one decibel.

nZuo Hancheng suddenly picked up his cell phone as he held it in his hand and looked through his cell phone in a casual manner. After that, he said in an indifferent manner, “Well, there are still certain things that I did not get to say to Yi Zeyang when he called last night. I was thinking of giving him a call. After all, he is still a temporary guest professor at A High.”

nAnhao rushed over to him in a flash and fell into his arms. She did not even try to snatch the cell phone from his hand but instead, she looked right into his handsome face that was extremely close to her as she was in his arms. Even though Anhao really felt like yelling at him, she could only stare at him with a helpless expression on her face.

n“Okay, fine! I will pass every subject! I am so talented and intelligent anyway. This is just three years of high school. How difficult can it be? I promise that I will definitely pass every subject!”

nZuo Hancheng’s gaze fell on her face as he grabbed her waist and held her tightly in his arms.

n“Since you are being so obedient, then I will let you off with just a small punishment this time. However, I really hope that you will stop seducing me in the future because like I said, there is nothing much that you can offer me anymore.”

nAfter hearing that, Anhao who was still lying in his arms lowered her head as she looked down at her pyjamas.

nShe did not know when it happened but one of the buttons on her pyjamas had popped open.

nGu Anhao quickly got back up on her feet as she withdrew from Zuo Hancheng’s arms, he then whispered in her ear, “Of course, I wouldn’t mind performing a husband’s duty now.”

nZuo Hancheng tightened his hand around her waist as he tried to pull Anhao into his embrace. Anhao was already blushing and she quickly broke free from his arms as she tried to hide her embarrassment. She straightened her hair as she sat upright on the sofa before she looked at Zuo Hancheng and said, “Zuo Hancheng, you are so disrespectful!”

n“…” Zuo Hancheng’s eyelids twitched. “How am I being disrespectful when I am older than you?”

nAnhao was so furious that she did not know what else to say anymore. Zuo Hancheng was not even thirty years old but he was always so sarcastic when he was touching her and pressuring her to study harder. Anhao blushed as she blurted out, “You are always so rude to me!”

nZuo Hancheng smiled as he looked at Gu Anhao, and she was surprised that he would be smiling so beautifully at her. She stood up immediately before taking two steps backwards as she continued cursing at him. “You, you, you are a very sly and cunning person!”

n“A cunning and sly fox!”

nZuo Hancheng was staring at Gu Anhao with a dangerous expression on his face but Anhao did not even realize it. She was not paying any attention because she was trying to rack her brain to think of all the idioms and phrases that she could use against him.

nIt was only when Zuo Hancheng suddenly stood up and started walking toward her that she suddenly pointed her finger at the area between his legs as she shouted, “Old, weak and sickly man!”

nOkay… she did not have anything else to say.

nWhen Gu Anhao saw Zuo Hancheng walking toward her, she screamed out loud as she hurriedly threw her English textbook and notes at him. After that, she turned around and tried running toward the bedroom so that she could close the door behind her.

nHowever, after barely running for two steps, Zuo Hancheng had lifted her up in his arms as he threw her down on the sofa even though she was screaming all the way.

nZuo Hancheng then pressed his body against hers so that she was confined between him and the sofa.

nThe only reason Anhao provoked him by using all those phrases today was simply because she had nowhere else to vent her frustrations. She did not expect this end result!

nZuo Hancheng grabbed Anhao’s chin before he said in a low and deep voice, “I dare you to try and use those idioms and phrases on me again in future. Do you have the guts to?” At this time, Anhao could only raise her hand to touch her face as she looked at him in a helpless manner. “Um… my face is hurting…”
