nZuo Hancheng held her down firmly. Gu Anhao felt so much pain that she tried to defend herself by raising her hand to hit him. However, Zuo Hancheng grabbed her hand firmly as he pinned her down on the sofa.

nGu Anhao punched and kicked the air as she tried to get out of his grasp.

nIt was not surprising that Gu Anhao was in so much pain, considering how swollen and red her cheek was.

n“It really hurts…” Gu Anhao cried out as she continued struggling. The pain that she was feeling made her feel as though she was about to cry. Her whole body was pressed down on the sofa and she stared at Zuo Hancheng with a distressed expression on her face. “Zuo Hancheng, I am going to charge you for attempted murder!”

n“It seemed as though taking a bath really helped. At least, you are sober enough to recognize who I am now,” Zuo Hancheng sneered in a lukewarm manner.

nWhat nonsense! Even a dead person could be brought back to life if anyone were to place such a cold ice pack against his face! Moreover, her face was seriously hurting. Even if she was very drunk, she would definitely be wide awake at this moment.

nGu Anhao knew that it was absolutely worthless to struggle in front of this strong man. She was also feeling very uncomfortable and she had a massive headache because of the alcohol. Therefore, Gu Anhao could only rest her head against the side of the sofa, but she could not avoid the ice pack at all. All that she could do was to bite onto her lips as she tried to endure the pain.

nZuo Hancheng frowned when he saw her biting her lips.

nGu Anhao obviously did not know how tempting and seductive she looked right now as she was half-naked and only scantily clad in a white bathrobe. Furthermore, Zuo Hancheng was really captivated by Gu Anhao’s unexpected confidence and courage.

nZuo Hancheng wanted to ask Gu Anhao to stop biting her lips but he suddenly realized that she was biting her lower lip to the point where it had turned white.

nGu Anhao was really in pain. She was only biting her lips because she was desperately trying to endure the pain. When Zuo Hancheng suddenly tightened his arms around her waist, Gu Anhao opened her eyes but she suddenly felt his warm lips and tongue brushing against her lips in an aggressive manner.

nThe strong stench of alcohol in her mouth welcomed the clean and fresh breath of his, and Gu Anhao was feeling very confused at the moment.

nGu Anhao was at a loss because she did not know why Zuo Hancheng was acting this way. She was in pain but what did she do wrong? Was she not allowed to cry out if she was in pain?

nThe look of confusion and grievance in her eyes made Zuo Hancheng feel as though he was doing something seriously wrong. He felt as though he was taking advantage of an innocent young girl.

nBut how could Gu Anhao be considered an innocent girl?

nShe drank so much to the point where she got wasted! She did everything that made him dislike her and she even had the audacity to ask him why there were no cigarettes here! The more he thought about it, the more he felt that he ought to teach her a lesson. Therefore, he pulled her closer to him as he held her tightly against his body.

nHe continued kissing her and he could feel Gu Anhao moving slightly as though she had been placed in an unbearable position.

nZuo Hancheng muttered under his breath before he dropped the ice pack that he was holding against her face. He was already prepared to bring her back to her bedroom so that he could teach her a lesson and straighten her out immediately.

nJust as he was about to carry her up in his arms, Gu Anhao’s cell phone that was on the coffee table started ringing all of a sudden.

nZuo Hancheng glanced at the cell phone before he subconsciously sat Gu Anhao down on the sofa. At this time, Gu Anhao opened her eyes as she stared at him with drunk and dull eyes.

nZuo Hancheng did not say anything, he simply walked toward the coffee table as he picked up the cell phone that was ringing continuously.

nHe stared at the cell phone but it was a phone call from an unknown number that had not been saved. The cell phone continued ringing again and again, and this proved that the other party was indeed very persistent.

nGu Anhao was lying on the sofa behind him and she pulled her bathrobe tightly together as she was feeling a little cold. She turned around to look at Zuo Hancheng before asking in a muffled tone, “Who’s calling?”

n“It’s probably a prank call,” Zuo Hancheng replied. After that, he threw the cell phone down before he turned around to pick her up, but the cell phone rang again, indicating that there was an incoming text message.

nZuo Hancheng knitted his brows tightly together when he saw the intimate and commanding tone of the text message. Gu Anhao’s cell phone then started ringing again.

nIt was already in the middle of the night. Who was calling her so persistently? Who could be so concerned about her to this extraordinary extent?

nThe Gu family? No, it was obviously impossible.
