nNo one expected Chunchun to suddenly stand up, bow apologetically to Yi Zeyang, who was on the stage afar, and speak with a sweet voice, “Sir! My name is Su Chunchun, you can ask me to go to your office later when you are done with the lecture! I promise I will behave!”

nMurmurs started spreading out from the silent lecture hall—all of them looked shocked!

nShe had actually teased a lecturer in front of the whole school! As expected from one of the female bully trio of A High!

nHowever, Mr. Yi who was being teased by the female student was unfazed. He was not frightened by the female student at all. His eyes first scanned Chunchun’s face, and then shifted to Anhao who looked like she could not wait to disappear.

nSeeing that he was looking at Anhao, Chunchun maintained her eye-catching posture while reaching her hand down to drag Anhao up with all her might.

n“Get up! Mr. Yi must’ve seen you covering your head with your uniform just now! Apologize to the lecturer now!”

nAnhao could not stand her so she pushed her hand away. “If you want to be a fangirl do it alone! Don’t get me involved too!”

nChunchun looked down and glared at her, looking shocked. “Didn’t we make a promise to tease handsome guys together? If you’re not joining in at least back me up! The lecturer’s looking at you! You better get up!”

nHuang Amao who was beside them could no longer stand it as he reached out a claw-like hand toward Anhao.

nAnhao was tickled by him, and she immediately jumped up instinctively.

nThe entire lecture hall became noisier the moment Anhao stood up. Anhao gritted her teeth, she was put in a difficult position. She raised her line of sight to look at Yi Zeyang who had put down his notes. With a slight smile like a soft spring breeze caressing their faces, and a pair of gentle eyes, he waited patiently for an explanation from the two female students.

nAnhao could only bow apologetically to Yi Zeyang as she spoke monotonously, “Sorry Mr. Yi, I shouldn’t have fallen asleep when an older person like you is giving a speech.”

n“Oh, Gu Anhao, how could you say that, how can you call Mr. Yi an old man when he’s so young…”

nMurmurs and whispers were everywhere.

nFacing the countless taunts, for the first time, Anhao felt like she did not know how to fight back because the man on stage was staring at her.

nHowever, Chunchun courageously pulled her along with a face filled with sincerity as she said, “My dear lecturer! I will definitely teach our Anhao a lesson! I promise you the next time you come to our school to give another speech, she will listen from the beginning until the end, she won’t even try to blink!”

nMore laughter roared from below.

nAnhao wanted to slap the foolish girl, Chunchun, so badly!

nYi Zeyang chuckled. “Your name is Anhao, huh?”

nWhen she heard Yi Zeyang’s voice, AnHao quickly lifted her head.

n“Let’s have a chat in my office later.”

n“…”

nChunchun seemed to be shocked as she turned her head to look at Anhao, but Anhao had already pulled her back down to her seat.

n“Isn’t Mr. Yi supposed to call me to his office to chat? Why did he call for you?” Chunchun angrily yanked Anhao’s arm. “What’s going on with you today? You better explain yourself! Not only did you not help me out, you even held me back from flirting with the lecturer!”

nAnhao did not know what God or goddess she had just offended, she was just really unfortunate these past few days.

n“What do you mean flirt? Why do u want to flirt with a man who’s about to get married?”

n“He’s about to get married? How do you know that?!”

nThe talk continued on as if nothing had happened, Yi Zeyang continued to deliver his speech to the third year students calmly in a serious and strict manner.

nAnhao rested her chin on her palm, her expression was bitter. She did not know how to answer Chunchun’s questions, and did not know how to handle the situation she was about to face.

nAn hour later, Anhao walked out of the lecture hall.

nYi Zeyang was not a full-time lecturer at A High so his office was at a spare office which was on the same floor as the principal’s office.

nWhen Anhao arrived at the office entrance, she did not see Yi Zeyang anywhere in the office.

nHe should be having lunch with the other deans of the school at the moment so she wanted to leave and return in the afternoon.

nWhen she turned around, she was surprised to see that Yi Zeyang was already at the entrance. With a clearly shocked face, she staggered two steps backward.

nDespite seeing Anhao who looked like she had just gotten the shock of her life, Yi Zeyang was unperturbed. Without saying a word, he went straight into the office.

nAnhao stood frozen at the entrance as she looked at his back which was facing her. She watched him put down some documents on the office table, and she did not know whether to enter or not, but she then heard him say, “Enter.”

n“…”

nShe could only summon all her courage and enter. She walked until she was two meters behind him and stood there.

nWhen the man in front of her turned around, Anhao hung her head low. She did not know how to face this person who she was reunited with after five years under such circumstances.

n“Ms. Anhao, is there something on the ground that has caught your attention?”

nYi Zeyang’s voice was mixed with slight amusement.

nAnhao realized that she had been looking down all this while so she quickly looked up. She saw that Yi Zeyang’s gaze had a glimmer of warmth but she felt a tinge of bitterness in her heart as she bit her lips subconsciously. She was speechless, and after a while she spoke with a soft voice, “M-Mr. Yi…”

nYi Zeyang held back his amusement. “What did you call me?”

nAnhao’s hands were behind her, and her fingers were laced together as she was feeling a bit tensed up. “Mr. Yi…”

nSeeing Yi Zeyang’s gaze slowly turn cold, Anhao quickly said, “I’m sorry about today, I wasn’t planning on interrupting your speech, but my bestie and I are used to messing around, and we didn’t realize that we had crossed the line, I hope you don’t mind…”

nSeeing that she was still as stubborn as a mule, Yi Zeyang glanced at her short hair and decided not to push her any further. “Have you eaten lunch yet?”

n“I’m not hungry.”

nYi Zeyang did not mind her indirect rejection. He fetched his car keys on his office desk and walked out.

n“Let’s go get you some food first.”

nAnhao was rooted to the ground. “No, I’m really not hungry. If you don’t have anything else to say I’m going to leave now, my classmates are still waiting for me.”

nYi Zeyang stopped in his tracks, he glanced sideways and shot her a look. “We haven’t seen each other for five years and this is how you want to act and speak when with me?”

nAnhao looked down. “Then, how should I speak to you?”

nYi Zeyang seemed to understand her stubbornness all too well so he sighed. “Then, think of this as you accompanying me for lunch? Okay?”

n“…”

n“I’ve been overseas for five years, and I’ve just returned less than half a year ago, places with big changes in A City are so unfamiliar to me. If you don’t plan on introducing me to a good place with good food, I’ll just have to bring you to your school cafeteria.”

nAnhao could only obediently follow him. “If that’s the case, let’s get some crayfish. There’s one opposite the school, it just opened not long ago, and it has quite a good environment too!”
