nAt this moment, the President of Academic Affairs and several heavyweight leaders were talking on the stage. Everyone was silent, and so was Anhao. The only difference was that she did not clearly listen to whatever they were saying.

nEveryone started applauding, which caused her to raise her head in time to see Yi Zeyang appearing on the stage.

nHe turned up in a well-cut suit just to give the students a lecture. Therefore, his style was quite low-key yet charming at the same time, while the gentleness and friendliness of his subtle smile on his handsome face was still there even after five years.

nThis was definitely the man who once enlightened Anhao in her life’s journey.

nThere were thousands of students in A High School who already completely filled the lecture hall. And as usual, Anhao was sitting at the left of the back row to avoid being seen.

nBesides, her once long hair had been cut short, and she had changed from the princess he was proud of into the gangster she was now. So, he probably could not recognize her even if he saw her.

n“Yi Zeyang was a gifted student who studied Business Finance in MIT at Boston, USA. Six months ago, he came back to inherit his family’s business. And now, he’s the general manager of YiShi Group, and the chief director of the company’s financial investment and analysis firm. Let’s give Mr. Yang a big round of applause…”

nAs the applause continued to echo, Anhao’s ears were buzzing and unable to hear a thing.

nThe Yi Zeyang she once knew was a competitive high-score student, and his very existence was like a legend, being spread throughout various domestic high schools and universities. But now, he returned to China after furthering his studies in the United States for several years, and he was even more charming and calmer than ever.

n“Hi students. My name is Yi Zeyang, and A High School invited me today…”

nHe was somewhat carefree when giving his welcoming introduction, but numerous girls on the scene looked at the guest professor with twinkling, sparkling eyes, like all of them were cheering for a handsome guy.

nAnhao scratched her head and then looked down at her blank notebook. She could neither listen a single word nor jot down what she heard from him.

nAnhao took a glance at Chunchun sideways: “Will you stop poking me?! It hurts!”

nChunchun’s excitement wiped out at once and saw Anhao facepalming, not looking at the man on the stage at all. She then whispered in utter shock, “Anhao, I thought you liked watching handsome guys the most. What’s with you today?”

nAnhao’s mouth twitched: “So what? I’m getting my period, so I’m not in the mood to see, alright? So stop poking my arm, it hurts.”

nSeeing Anhao being a bit cranky, Chunchun rolled her eyes at her, “You jerk off after getting your period? And you don’t wanna see some handsome guy? Well then, your loss!”

nHuang Amao on the other side winked at Chunchun, signalling her to stop touching Anhao again: ‘Something must be bothering Anhao, better not make things worse.’

nChunchun saw Amao’s line of sight and kept herself shut again. However, she still couldn’t help but push Anhao’s arm: “He’s truly goddamn handsome…”

nThe man’s voice in her ears was mellow. Anhao was angry not because of Chunchun, but because she could barely take this atmosphere anymore as her mind was filled with the past. With Chunchun poking Anhao again, she was like she reached her breaking point in a split second, irritably about to cover her head with her school uniform and take a nap.

nNoticing that Anhao unexpectedly got impatient with her, Chunchun’s little heart suddenly broke: “Gu Anhao, what the hell are you doing?!”

nIn a panic, Chunchun forgot to control her volume. At a moment’s notice, everyone in the silent lecture hall heard her voice. Then, they turned around to look at the ridiculous Chunchun, Anhao and Amao with strange expressions.

n’Gu Anhao…’

nThe man who was speaking on the stage also stopped his voice in an instant. Upon hearing those three words, he gently folded the speech draft in his hand, raised his head and turned toward the direction of the voice.

nKnowing that she herself was screwed the moment Chunchun suddenly called her name out loud, Anhao panickly raised her head and looked around the hall. Witnessing the strange looks on the other students, she at last set her sights on the stage in a great flurry.

nThe moment both her and Yi Zeyang’s eyes stared at each other, Anhao almost wanted to directly find somewhere to hide.

nUnder the table, she instantly pinched Chunchun’s hip, whispering while gnashing her teeth, “Damn it, Chunchun! Now you’ve done it!”

nChunchun was baffled. But because something was seemingly off with Anhao, and now this, she was really panicked until she could not control her voice.

nAt this moment, everyone witnessed that Yi Zeyang, standing on the stage, put down the speech draft in his hand and then silently looked at Gu Anhao.

nHis originally carefree face suddenly gave out a subtle, gentle smile.

nAnhao hastily facepalmed.

n“My God, he’s so charming when he smiles! Look!” Chunchun whispered while dragging Anhao’s sleeve non-stop.

nAnhao had never seen Chunchun this girlish before. She then instantly roared back and glared at her: “Stop being so love-struck!”

nChunchun stared at her without rhyme or reason. At the same time, she pointed her finger to the stage: “But Professor Yi’s looking at you!”

nAnhao had no choice but to put down her hand after stroking her forehead, and then lifted her head to see Yi Zeyang’s eyes again. The moment she looked at him, she was like she already saw herself in him. As his eyes displayed a warm look which made her feel familiar, she grinned with a stiff smile.

n“Gu Anhao! Su Chunchun! Huang Mao! It’s you three again!” From beside them came the voice of the President of Academic Affairs.

nThey turned around, only to see the President of Academic Affairs had already sneakily headed up the stairs and stood beside the trio, staring at them.

n“Can’t you three not let me worry? I don’t mind you joking around in school every day, but inviting Professor Yi to give a lecture to all you 3rd Graders is no easy task for us. So, would you do the principal a favour and try not embarrass yourselves? And don’t be playful whenever you like!”

nAfter being taught such a lesson by the President of Academic Affairs, Anhao shot a glance at Chunchun and Huang Amao beside her. She witnessed that the two of them never gave a damn about him and ignored his stern expression at the same time.
