nShe abruptly suppressed the impulse to throw the pillow at the man.

nAfter all, remembering that she had stained his clothes in the first place last night, he not only did not throw her out, but also gave her a room to stay. For a stranger, this was a considerably kind act.

nShe chose to tolerate the man even though he appeared cold, distant, and outrageously obsessed over cleanliness.

nAll of a sudden, a pleasant ringtone came from the phone.

nZuo Hancheng took a glimpse at the incoming call displayed on his phone’s screen. While expressionless, he picked up the call and walked to the next room to answer the call.

nWith his figure disappearing in front of her eyes, Anhao finally had time to recall what had happened yesterday.

nThe prince charming who she had secretly liked for many years got engaged. Feeling pathetically angry and hurt, she had dragged her besties to Enchanting Bar and got dead drunk…

nShe then suddenly received a call from Gu Shishi, a two-faced girl who appeared lovely and sweet but was actually despicable and deceitful, saying that she had something to give her.

nThat object was related to her prince charming. Anhao was so drunk to the point where she was not herself and had lost all rationality. Without considering the authenticity of her words, she directly went to the place that both Gu Shishi and she had agreed to meet up—A City Night Bar.

nGu Shishi, who was disgusted by the smell of wine on her body once she got there, forced her to drink a glass of fruit juice, she then found an excuse to go to the bathroom.

nAnhao waited for Shishi for a long time, yet she did not return. Therefore, she wobbled to the washroom to find Gu Shishi, and then…

nAnd then what happened afterwards… She vaguely had a bit of an impression, yet she still could not remember it clearly!

nNevertheless, she got lucky that the man really did not do anything to her!

nOtherwise, she would definitely tear Gu Shishi apart! She had been bullied and humiliated by the Gu family for so many years, and now they even resorted to nasty methods like drugging her!

nWhat she regretted even more was the fact that she had drunk too much last night and almost got herself into deep trouble!

nAnhao raised her hand and scratched her head. She irritatedly wrapped herself up and got out of bed, but she could not find her clothes in the bedroom.

nRecalling that she had stained her clothes last night, that neat freak must have called someone to dispose of them. As such, she had no choice but to go to the bathroom to take a quick shower. Then, she put on the bathrobe that was hung on the bathroom wall before hurrying out.

nAs soon as she walked out of the bathroom, she suddenly heard what seemed to be some kind of movement outside the bedroom door. Feeling uncertain, she swiftly looked toward the door.

nSuddenly, the door was pushed open by force with a loud bang. Then, Gu Shishi, along with her mother, Madam Gu, and some of her uncles and aunts from the Gu family, rushed into the room.

n“Gu Anhao! You shameless trash!”

n“What kind of things have you been learning! How dare you have a one-night stand with a guy before even graduating from high school!”

nAnhao’s head was still throbbing due to her hangover. She saw the Gu family rushing in from the door, one after another, before scolding her right in the face. She then realized why Gu Shishi had drugged her last night.

nThey saw the bathrobe on her body and her wane face, and immediately assumed that she was just getting up to take a bath after a long night of getting laid.

nMadam Gu, along with the uncles and aunts of the Gu family, with incredulous looks on their faces, scanned her from head to toe several times.

nThe only person who stood up for Anhao when the Gu family had refused to adopt her was her second uncle.

nBut now, he was pointing at her in distress. “Anhao, you were such a pitiful young child. Five years ago, your dad was willing to bring you home, but I’m sure he had no plans on adopting a shameless crazy girl like you! You have brought shame upon the Gu family! ”

nGu Shishi chimed in with her uncle by her side, “Uncle, I saw Gu Anhao and a man being all lovey-dovey by the roadside last night. I knew that she had to be up to something disgusting out there, and now I finally caught her red-handed!”

n“You haven’t even graduated from high school, and yet you are hanging out with these social miscreants all day long! Such an embarrassment!”

n“No way the Gu family would have a child like you… I shouldn’t have let Tianming fetch you back home! You’re the mayor’s daughter after all, how could you be so shameless?!”

nGu Shishi interjected, “Did you think that my dad really wanted to bring her back home? As if it was not enough that her shameless mother seduced my dad, she even secretly gave birth to such a daughter. My dad didn’t even plan to acknowledge her in the first place!”

n“Gu Anhao wouldn’t have entered this place if it weren’t for her mother running to the Gu residence and making a commotion before finally dying by the stairs, practically using her death to force us to adopt this illegitimate girl!”

nAnhao was used to hearing these excruciatingly harsh words, and she did not look hurt by those words.

nDue to her own mistake of drinking too much, she actually believed Gu Shishi and all her nonsense, putting herself in this situation by walking into that bar.

nLuckily, she drank too much wine before going to the bar, causing her to be unable to stomach anything else for a while. She threw up not long after drinking that glass of fruit juice so the effects of those drugs were not that strong.

nHowever, Anhao then thought of Gu Shishi using such a despicable and conscienceless method to kick her out of the Gu residence!

nDid she plan to use the effects of the drugs to make her sleep with some random man out there? Or perhaps she had even arranged for someone to force her to get laid.

nWhereas what was unfolding right now was Gu Shishi’s plan set in motion, intending to completely kick Gu Anhao out of the Gu residence in front of the Gu family today!

nBefore this, Anhao had never thought that anyone would be this horrible.

nEven during the annual Spring Festival when she could only eat leftovers instead of hot dumplings and Tang Yuan!

nEven when she was discriminated against by those people. Whenever she returned to the Gu residence, Madam Gu would look at her with contempt and disdain.

nEven when the clothes Gu Shishi had gotten tired of wearing which would be stored away in an old bag before being thrown away instead of allowing Anhao to get a little “benefit”!

nEven when both Madam Gu and Gu Shishi beat her up countless times for the past two years, the countless injuries she had sustained…

n“Uncles, look at her! Not even a single explanation coming out of her! That disgusting man who slept with her must still be hiding here!”

nSuddenly, Gu Shishi went toward her and was about to shove Anhao who was standing in front of the door. However, she was unable to push her as Anhao was standing there firmly. Enraged, she lifted her hand and wanted to slap Gu Anhao in the face.

nAnhao blocked her hand and pushed her away. “Gu Shishi! We both know what is true and what is not so spare me your despicable tactics!”

nUpon seeing Gu Shishi being pushed and staggering backward, Madam Gu hurriedly went forward to support her daughter while cursing in retaliation, “How dare you? We fed you, we gave you clothes to wear, we raised you! This is completely unreasonable!”

nAnhao scoffed, knowing that Gu Shishi could not be the only one who was behind all of this; Madam Gu must also have conspired with her as well.

nSince this was their careful planning, and now the “evidence” was also placed in front of them, Anhao merely laughed with disapproval without even bothering to explain herself. “Try me if you will. If you were to really push me to the point where I would want to attack Gu Shishi, then she would’ve been beaten into a bloody pile of mess by now!”
